Smith College

Smith College is a private women’s liberal arts college founded in 1871 in Northampton, Massachusetts. The largest of the Seven Sisters colleges, Smith enrolls 3,000 students and is unique for having the only accredited engineering program at a women’s college in the United States. Part of the Five Colleges consortium, Smith is also known for its Ada Comstock Scholars program for returning adult women and its exceptional sciences and arts programs.
