Union College is a private liberal arts and engineering college founded in 1795 in Schenectady, New York — the first college to be chartered by the New York State Board of Regents and one of the oldest liberal arts colleges in the United States. Union is unique in combining a rigorous liberal arts education with ABET-accredited engineering programs, producing graduates who excel in both technical and humanistic disciplines.
