Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) is the academic and spiritual center of Reform Judaism, founded in 1875. With campuses in New York City, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and Jerusalem, HUC-JIR prepares rabbis, cantors, educators, and Jewish professionals for leadership roles in Jewish communities worldwide. The NYC campus, located in Greenwich Village, is one of four campuses offering graduate and professional programs in Jewish scholarship and practice.
