Morehouse College is a private HBCU liberal arts college for Black men, founded in 1867 in Atlanta, Georgia. The most celebrated HBCU liberal arts college in the world, Morehouse has produced more African American male PhDs than any institution in the US and counts Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Spike Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, and Edwin Moses among its alumni. Part of the historic Atlanta University Center consortium.
