Meharry Medical College is a private HBCU medical college founded in 1876 in Nashville, Tennessee — one of only four historically Black medical schools in the United States. Meharry has trained more than 40% of all African American physicians and dentists currently practicing in the US and is the largest educator of Black healthcare professionals in the country.
