The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) is the oldest professional actor-training school in the English-speaking world, founded in 1884 in New York City. AADA has produced some of the most celebrated actors in history, including Spencer Tracy, Lauren Bacall, Anne Bancroft, Robert Redford, and Grace Kelly. The academy offers two-year professional actor training programs at its New York campus (Midtown Manhattan) and Los Angeles campus.
