The Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS) is the flagship institution of Conservative Judaism, founded in 1886 in Morningside Heights, Manhattan, adjacent to Columbia University. JTS is a world center for Jewish scholarship, rabbinical training, cantorial training, and Jewish studies. The seminary offers undergraduate and graduate programs through its affiliated Albert A. List College (joint with Columbia University) and its various rabbinical and graduate schools.
