New York Academy of Art is a private graduate school of fine arts founded in 1982 in TriBeCa, Manhattan by Andy Warhol, painter Francis Mason, and art historian Brendan Gill. The Academy is dedicated to figurative and representational art, providing rigorous technical training in painting, drawing, and sculpture alongside contemporary critical thinking.
