The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is the world’s premier culinary college, founded in 1946 in Hyde Park, New York, in the Hudson Valley. The CIA has trained generations of the world’s finest chefs and food industry leaders and is consistently ranked the top culinary school in the nation. The college operates 41 professionally equipped kitchens, five restaurants open to the public, and a farm for agricultural education.
