Bank Street College of Education

Bank Street College of Education is a graduate school of education founded in 1916 in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Widely regarded as one of the nation’s most progressive and innovative schools of education, Bank Street is known for its child-centered, developmental approach to teacher education. The college enrolls approximately 1,200 graduate students and operates the Bank Street School for Children, a model laboratory school.
